Leco Carbon/Sulfur Analyzer
Leco CS-444Carbon/Sulfur Determinator: A microprocessor based instrument that can perform a wide-range of measurements to simultaneously determine the carbon and sulfur content of metals, ores, ceramics and other inorganic materials.
• Can determine Carbon/Sulfur at sub ppm levels
• Requires 0.5 -1.0 gram sample per determination
• Sample is combusted in a purified oxygen stream using a Leco HF-400 induction furnace
• Carbon and sulfur are converted to CO2 and SO2 respectively and measured by infrared cell
• The instrument is equipped with two carbon IR cells to accurately determine both low and high range carbon
• Installed in 2000
